Fundamentals of Vehicle Diagnostics

The desire for greater safety, comfort and energy efficiency can now only be realized through a variety of highly networked electronic vehicle systems. Conclusion: The amount of electronics and software in vehicles is growing steadily. The electronics in the car now accounts for about one-third of the value of the vehicle. Mastering the complexity of the entire vehicle life cycle while reducing costs is therefore a major challenge for automotive electronics. The modern vehicle diagnostics plays a crucial role: To ensure the functionality of each function must be tested intelligent. A huge challenge that can be managed by appropriate software tools only by new technologies, standards, and broad support.

Objective and Targets

The following items provide a comprehensive and systematic understanding of the basics of communication in the vehicle, known as vehicle diagnostics. Ranging from bus transportation to and diagnostic protocols to diagnose run-time systems and data exchange formats to be treated all the layers of modern vehicle diagnostics in the development, testing, production and service. In many small exercises (in the video), the interested consolidate his knowledge and control.

The do offer is aimed at engineers and technicians in the automotive and supply industry, which will become familiar with the specialized field of communications in the vehicle (vehicle diagnostics) trust and navigate through the maze of different standards.

The content provided here can not replace a visit to a seminar. They are a useful aid to refresh the knowledge acquired or looking up. If you are interested Seminars In-house training or are interested in the topic - talk to us, we will help you.
