OTL Syntax

FloatTerm = Math.Log(NumericTerm, NumericTerm);

Description

The Log term is used for the calculation of the logarithm of a given number on a given base.

Return Value

The Term returns the value, see table below.

Icons Note.png In OTX, Terms are categorized according to its return data type!
Data Type Description
Float Result of the calculation of the logarithm of a number.

Properties

Name Data Type Class Default Cardinality Description
Numeral - Term - [1] The numerical value (of type Integer or Float), where the logarithm is calculated..
Base - Term - [1] The numerical value (of type Integer or Float), which will serve as the logarithmic basis of the calculation.

OTL Examples

Float Float1;

Float1 = Math.Log(2, 4);
