Preparation
Before starting the installation, we recommend that you download the latest version from our license portal. Please use your credentials to log in to your account of our LICENSE PORTAL.

To download the installer, you need to login at our license portal, see Login. Please contact us if you do not have an account. |
Open Test Framework installation
Please install the OTF as follows:
- Download and run the latest version of the installation files from our website, see above.
- Close the OTF, if necessary.
- Start the installer.
- Follow the instructions in the installation wizard.
- Install the supplied diagnostic runtime system if necessary.
- Start the OTF.
- Activate the OTF, see Activation.
- Familiarize yourself with the OTF, see Getting Started section.
Open Test Framework with included VW-MCD installation
Please install the OTF as follows:
- Download and run the latest version of the installation files from our website, see above.
- Close the OTF, if necessary.
- Start the installer.
- Follow the instructions in the installation wizard.
- Restart the computer!
- Start the OTF.
- Activate the OTF, see Activation.
- Familiarize yourself with the OTF, see Getting Started section.
DotNet Framework 4.0 installation
If the DotNet Framework 4.0 is not already installed on your computer (this installation can be skipped in Windows 10, see the section below), please proceed as follows:
- Download the installer.
- Close all running applications.
- Start the installer.
- Follow the instructions in the installation wizard.
DotNet Framework Configuration for Windows 10
Please check the Windows Features before installing the OTF:
- Click the Start button.
- Type Windows Features.
- Select Turn Windows feature on or off.
- If prompted, click Yes or enter the administrator password.
- Check if the check boxes for .NET Framework 3.5 and .NET Framework 4.6 Advanced Services are selected.
- If the both items are already selected, then click Cancel and you can skip the next steps and install OTF immediately.
- If one of the 2 items (or both of them) is not selected, tick the check box(es), and then click OK.
- Select Download files from Windows Update
- When it has completed, click Close.
Windows 10 adjust font size
- At desktop, right click and chose Display Settings.
- Click on Display on the left side.
- Under Change the size of text, apps, and other items, select the DPI 100 percentage from the drop down or click Custom scaling and enter 100.
- Click on the Sign out now link to apply.
