EMOTIVE is an independent German software tool manufacturer and expert in automotive diagnostic systems. EMOTIVE sees itself as the market leader in the field of OTX according to ISO 13209 and offers software of the highest quality, innovation, and usability. The EMOTIVE OTX tool chain is in productive use as a reference implementation with several hundred thousand installations in development, production, after-sales, and within the vehicle at several German automakers.
EMOTIVE is a selected OTX tool manufacturer for the Volkswagen Group , particularly Porsche , and supports the introduction of OTX into diagnostic processes through consulting, integration support and user training.
EMOTIVE actively promotes standardization in vehicle diagnostics within ASAM, ISO, and VDA. EMOTIVE is a founding member of the Automotive Engineering Tool Alliance , in which the tool manufacturers RA-Consulting , Intrepid , HighQSoft , and EMOTIVE collaborate with 300 employees in a global network.
Management
Dr.-Ing. Jörg Supke studied Mechatronics and earned his Ph.D. in Automotive Engineering from the Technical University of Darmstadt. In 2008, he founded emotive GmbH. Since 2015, he has been responsible for the ISO working group “ODX, OTX & MVCI” (TC22/SC31/WG5) and has been a member of the ASAM Technical Steering Committee since 2016. Dr. Supke leads several project groups on OTX within ASAM and ISO. In addition, he works as a trainer and lecturer for courses on diagnostic standards and OTX.
Armin Rupalla studied Computer Science at the Technical University of Karlsruhe (now Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, KIT). In 1978, he founded his first company and has been active as an entrepreneur ever since. In 1989, he established RA Consulting GmbH, where he continues to serve as Managing Partner. With RA Consulting’s participation in EMOTIVE, Mr. Rupalla joined the company as its second Managing Director, responsible for commercial operations. Since 2017, Mr. Rupalla has been a Member of the Board of ASAM e.V. He has been and continues to be actively engaged in numerous business and political organizations, institutions, and committees on a voluntary basis.
