OTX Training
From Beginner to Expert
It teaches the basics of OTX and demonstrates how it is integrated into processes and integrated into target systems. Participants will also learn how to use the software tools through numerous practical exercises and receive an introduction to OTX programming. The training is suitable for beginners and users of all experience levels.
Understanding and Applying OTX
Overview
Mastering complexity is the challenge of today. As a standardized and platform-independent programming language for describing test logic, OTX has established itself in the automotive industry. Test sequences can be exchanged seamlessly and executed in a wide variety of systems. This training provides a comprehensive and systematic overview of the OTX (ISO 13209) test sequence exchange format. Participants will learn the structure and handling of OTX data, as well as the possibilities and limitations of the standard. The content will be illustrated and reinforced through practical examples and live demonstrations.
Goals
The training is aimed at both beginners and experienced users and guides them step-by-step through the world of OTX. It begins with a thorough overview of the basics of OTX to create a solid foundation. Participants learn how to effectively integrate OTX into existing processes and how to specifically use the powerful software tools for process optimization. As the training progresses, participants learn how to integrate OTX into target systems and gain deeper knowledge of OTX programming. The training enables them to master OTX from the very first step to complex applications – ideal for engineers who want to benefit from OTX both as beginners and as experts.
Understanding OTX
Why OTX? Understand the importance of OTX through its application in the processes of an automotive manufacturer.Apply OTX
You will learn about software tools for OTX and be able to use them easily.Integrate OTX
Understand how OTX integrates into target systems.Programming OTX
Learn about the capabilities, language scope, and libraries (extensions) of OTX. Practice programming in sequences.
The fundamentals must be applied in practice. The training can serve as a foundation for further in-depth study!
Trainer
Dr.-Ing. Jörg Supke studied Mechatronics and earned his Ph.D. in Automotive Engineering from the Technical University of Darmstadt. In 2008, he founded emotive GmbH. Since 2015, he has been responsible for the ISO working group “ODX, OTX & MVCI” (TC22/SC31/WG5) and has been a member of the ASAM Technical Steering Committee since 2016. Dr. Supke leads several project groups on OTX within ASAM and ISO. In addition, he works as a trainer and lecturer for courses on diagnostic standards and OTX.
