Detailed Description

Access to the VEHICLE-INFO-SPEC container in ODX

The OTX VehicleInfo extension is introduced to enable getting information about the vehicle network architecture and to use the information to modify test sequences.

In case of a MVCI-Server, ODX-V data includes the information that is needed to use the actions and terms of the extension.

Note

NOTE 1 — The extension is closely related to an ODX/MVCI [ISO 22901] [ISO 22900] based system.

NOTE 2 — The OTX VehicleInfo extension is based on the OTX DiagDataBrowsingPlus extension. It uses the diagDataPlus:DbComChannel from which diverse static information can be queried.
